BPNSU Grant Award for Trainee or newly appointment consultant

The BPNA oversees the running of the BPNSU - British Paediatric Neurology Surveillance Unit.

This is a web-based conduit for surveillance, research, disease registry and audit for members of the British Paediatric Neurology Association.
One of the BPNA’s charitable objectives is to support the ‘Research into neurological disorders affecting children & young people.’

With this it has been agreed by the BPNA Trustees to produce a BPNSU Grant Award for up to a 2 year study. This is equivalent to the cost of £1200 which would cover the cost of a study so as to support this charitable aim.

This grant would be eligible for a BPNA member who is otherwise a trainee or newly appointment consultant within 2 years of qualifying.
The purpose of the award is to promote research amongst junior members of the BPNA and to help create future researchers in paediatric neurology.

The BPNA will consider more than one award per year and encourage you to apply.

How to apply:
• Eligibility – Trainee or newly appointment consultant within 2 years of qualifying
• Write a 1 to 2 page proposal of the study you would want to do and why you would like the grant including a short biography of yourself or selves if jointly applying and send to katerina.roumelioti@bpna.org.uk
