Dr Manali Chitre
MBBS, DCH, MRCP(Paediatrics), FRCPCH, Mst Med Ed. I work as a Consultant Paediatric Neurologist at Cambridge University Hospital NHS Foundation Trust, Cambridge, UK. We run an outreach based service that covers hospitals in the East of England. I lead the highly specialised Cambridge Paediatric Neuroimmunology service and am the departmental lead for Foetal and Neonatal neurology. My other interests include childhood epilepsies, neurovascular conditions and movement disorders. I am passionate about teaching and training. I have completed a masters in medical education (Cambridge university). I have recently been appointed chair of BPNA's Education Quality and Standards committee. I am a quality advisor on the Paediatric Neurology CSAC and lead for SPIN epilepsy. I regularly teach on BPNA-run PET and NeoNATE courses and have been involved in a variety of educational projects. I am co-chair of Sir Richard Stapley Trust charity which provides educational grants for all postgraduate studies in the UK.
