BPNA Professional Support
One of the BPNA's charitable objectives is to provide professional support to its members. The BPNA does this through:
- Mentoring for consultants mainly in paediatric neurology and paediatric neurology trainee members (in their final 12 months of training).
We do also have a limited number of members who can mentor in paediatrics, neurodisability and community paediatrics with special interest in epilepsy/neurology.
Please log into the members' area and click on Professional Support to request a mentor - Professional Support Team (PST). This team is made up of highly experienced, senior consultant paediatric neurologists and consultant paediatricians and consultant paediatric neurodisability and are able to co-opt additional team members as required.
The PST exists to provide advice and support to individuals or teams, including advice on job planning and developing business cases for new posts.
Please log into the members' area and click on Professional Support for further information - Clinical Governance. Contributing to NICE consultations on clinical guidelines and quality standards and NHS England consultations.
