Prof Sally Ann Lynch

Prof Sally Ann Lynch trained in clinical genetics in Leeds and Newcastle. She started as a consultant in clinical genetics in 2004 in the National centre for medical genetics in Dublin. She has co-authored >180 manuscripts including 13 papers on inherited disorders found amongst the Irish Traveller population. This includes a catalogue of the >100 inherited disorders found in the population as a whole. She has developed short animation videos on inheritance patterns, drawing a family tree, chromosomal translocations and explaining VUS & CNVs (which are available on the UCD YouTube channel) & have >1 million views collectively.
