Prof Samanmali Sumanasena

Has pioneered in establishing state of the art multi-disciplinary child development and disability services in Sri Lanka for children at risk and with neuro developmental disorders. Is the principal investigator of the cerebral palsy register project for Sri Lanka and has contributed to multiple international collaborative research projects including the HELIX trial. Is the co-investigator in several randomised controlled trials conducted in Sri Lanka primarily contributing towards long term neuro-developmental follow up of at risk infants.
