Mr Martin Tisdall

Mr Martin Tisdall is a consultant paediatric neurosurgeon at Great Ormond Street Hospital and honorary associate professor at UCL Great Ormond Street Institute of Child Health. He is Chief of Service for the GOSH Brain Directorate.
Martin is the lead epilepsy neurosurgeon at GOSH and responsible for the largest paediatric epilepsy surgery service in the UK. He also has subspecialty interests in minimally invasive epilepsy surgery, invasive neurophysiological monitoring, deep brain stimulation and advanced imaging techniques.
Martin qualified from UCLH medical school in 2000 and studied neurosurgery in London. He was awarded his MD from the University of London in 2009 and completed his neurosurgical training in 2013. He has completed fellowships in paediatric neurosurgery at Great Ormond Street Hospital and Sick Kids, Toronto, and in neurocritical care at the National Hospital for Neurology and Neurosurgery.
