BY AIR

Oxford is within easy reach of multiple London airports, with Heathrow and Gatwick offering direct coach services into Oxford via the Oxford Bus Company Airline. Luton airport offers some direct coach services via National Express. Birmingham International Airport offers frequent trains directly to Oxford.

BY TRAIN

Oxford Railway Station is a 5–10-minute walk from the centre of Oxford and is located a mile from The Mathematical Institute. Taxis are readily available outside the station. The journey via car takes about 10 minutes or walking will take about 25-minutes.

BY ROAD

Please be aware there is very limited public parking available in the centre of Oxford and it is advised not to park at the Mathematical Institute and instead use the local park & ride services. There are five park and ride sites which serve Oxford city centre. These include Oxford Parkway OX2 8HA (take the Stagecoach 7 bus), Pear Tree OX2 8JZ (take the 300 bus), Redbridge OX1 4XG (take the 300 bus), Thornhill OX3 8DP (take the 400 bus) & Seacourt OX2 0HP (take the 400 bus). The nearest park and ride is the Pear Tree.

BY COACH 

The Oxford tube offers a direct service between Oxford and London running a frequent timetable on a 24-hour basis, Monday to Sunday. The central coach station is at Gloucester Green in the city centre.
